Mr. Janser leads the Companyâ€™s business dealings and strategy. He chairs the nomination and remuneration committees and sits on the audit committee. Markus through his own holdings with associated investors has a significant shareholding in Nubian Resources Ltd and is the lead director. He graduated with a MCom from University of Fribourg in Switzerland in 1994. He worked for Swiss Banking Group UBS in London, Zurich and Johannesburg in Private Banking and Asset Management and was part of the Project and Implementation Team for UBS merger with SBC forming the largest Private Banking and Asset Management Company worldwide. In 2000 Markus formed his own Asset Management Company based in Switzerland and Johannesburg. He retired from the Company in 2007 and since then has been consulting to a Private Investor group focused on world-wide junior mining and exploration investments and to an international retail group in South Africa.
Mr. Treadgold has over 40 years' experience as an extractive metallurgist and senior manager in gold and copper assets world-wide. During his career he has developed both green-field and brown-field sites and brought them to optimum capacity and profitability. His early career was spent in Africa on the Zambian Copper-belt where he became Superintendent of Ndola Copper Refineries and precious metals plant. He later joined Noranda Minerals Inc., where, as President of their precious metal subsidiary, he was responsible for the management of operations, engineering and technical developments of precious metal activities in the United States and Asia. Since 2005, Larry has directed metallurgy for the Luanshya and Chambeshi copper operations in Zambia and successfully assisted taking the Nikanor, KOV development to the market raising Â£400 million. He has also provided metallurgical and environmental consulting services to gold and copper mining operations in the United States, Africa and elsewhere. Mr. Treadgold also chairs the technical committee and sits on the audit and nomination committees.
David Fynn, CA
CFO and Director
Mr. Fynn, chairs the audit committee and sits on the remuneration committee. David is responsible for overseeing the financial and reporting functions of the Company, and undertakes liaison with lawyers, bankers, auditors and regulatory authorities in the countries the Company has assets. David worked as a senior manager with KPMG in Canada and Ernst & Young in the United Kingdom and Saudi Arabia. Since 1996 he has been the principal of D.A. Fynn & Associates Inc., an accounting firm and since 2006 he has been associated with Nubian Resources and its predecessor company. David is a Canadian Chartered Accountant and services individuals/companies in many sectors including mining and commodities in his private practice.

Dr Wheatley, Economic Geologist is on Nubian's Technical Committee to give expert opinions on properties in the exploration portfolio. Chris obtained his doctorate from Imperial College London and has enjoyed a career spanning more than 40 years in Europe, Africa, Asia, North and South America, having spent time with the Superior Oil Company Minerals Division in Canada and the United States, with Newmont Mining Company at O'okiep Copper Company in South Africa and 20 years with the Billiton-Shell Group in various exploration management positions and managed exploration for the Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden). He has reviewed many technical papers and has filed numerous NI 43-101 reports across a range of commodities. He is an MIMMM, member of SME and past fellow of SEG.
Mrs Durand has been the corporate secretary since 2007. Jeannette is responsible for day to day Head Office activities of the Company. A key responsibility is to maintain the Companyâ€™s official records and prepare minutes of the Company Board Meetings. Jeannette communicates with and between the board of directors, senior management and is the point of contact with the companyâ€™s shareholders and outside contractors. She ensures accurate filing for timely disclosure in line with BCSC, TSX and Sedar reporting regulations. She graduated with a Business Administration Certificate (Honours) from the University of the Fraser Valley and holds a Certificate of Achievement for Management Development Program of CHBA of BC. Mrs Durand was a member of the Executive Committee of the Fraser Valley Homebuildersâ€™ Association and held the secretarial position for three years.
